GENTLE BLACK SPICED CHAI
Chai is drunk throughout Asia in many different forms. The truest way to drink it is by adding spices to boiling milk along with sugar and very strong black Assam tea.
This Chai is as nature intended with no added flavours. A mild mellow blend of spices and a good quality robust black tea. Warming, evocative and exotic, full of eastern promise.
Experiment with it on its own or you may choose to add milk and or sugar. If you’re making this at home, try adding a couple of teaspoons of the mix to a pot of milk boiling on the hob to get the real authenticity coming through.
Ingredients: black tea (44%), cinnamon pieces, aniseed, ginger pieces, black peppercorns, cloves, chicory root, cardamom seeds, whole cardamom.
